Lichtkunstmuseum 2025
Wednesday, December 10, 2025
In the shine of the center of international light art’s exhibition, surrounded by flickering candles and the quiet calm of the season, pianist Liam Ehm opens a window in Unna and lets the audience fly on harmonious wings into the vastness of music, where the wind carries every thought away. With his unmistakable style, Liam combines the emotional depth of cinematic orchestral music with the intimacy of a single piano. A concert for those who don’t just want to hear music, but truly feel it.
From the very entrance, guests immerse themselves in the world of light – the admission itself marks the beginning of a journey through the luminous spaces of the current temporary exhibition “Light–Land–Scapes.” Through the interplay of light and shadow, the path leads underground, where a Steinway grand piano awaits in the museum’s grand columned cellar to carry the audience further into the world of music.
Whether you are a fan instrumental film scores, emotional piano pieces, or simply curious — this evening promises to resonate long after the final note fades.
Liam Ehm is a classically trained pianist and composer from Germany whose hands translate cinematic emotions into piano storytelling. Crafting unique worlds through 88 keys, his deliberate compositions bridge the grandeur of film scores with the intimacy of solo piano. Each piece invites you into narrative landscapes where your own imagination takes center stage.
